During scheduled docking survey, scanning services for chemical tanker Odoardo Amoretti were requested. Point cloud was used to design and prepare for refitting of BWTS on its next docking in five years.
The reason for scanning 5 years before ships ship’s next scheduled docking is a result of a good planning on behalf of Amoretti Armatori Group, since areas scanned will be Ex zones until then and would require far more expensive scanning with ex-proof scanners.
